Review: Planet Fitness Black Card/ HydroMassage

I think Planet Fitness memberships are very reasonable. They don’t have classes, but plenty of space, along with enough weight equipment and cardio machines. I recently upgraded to the Black Card Membership for a small upgrade and now enjoy the hydromassage sessions on a regular basis.

You are reclined in a comfortable chair with a pillow and you feel a rolling pressure starting from your head area and slowly moving down your back and legs, and then the cycle reverses itself. The chairs are also heated, which add to the experience. You can control the pressure and the speed, depending on how you are feeling. I feel that this mini-massage helps keep me going through the week, and helps with post-workout soreness. I definitely notice the difference on days where I skip this treatment. It’s also helped me with my chronic neck and shoulder pain.

Your Black Card membership has other additional perks and massage options, but the hydromassage is my favorite. It’s an affordable way to add massage to your life and it’s conveniently located inside the gym so it can become part of your routine.

I’ve recently asked myself if I’m enjoying the pace of my life and honestly it’s a no. What I mean is that I try to cram so much into my free time because it’s very precious to me. I feel that I have to cram in what I”m missing. The pace is not sustainable. Everyone has different seasons of life so you may have to examine what is happening in your life.
